We're not lovin' it
About 29 percent of Chinese women are not satisfied with their sex lives, according to a survey of 10,836 women released as the sex expo opened in Shanghai yesterday.
It was the nation's second large survey on women and sex. The first, in 2005, revealed that about 25 percent of women were dissatisfied.
"Chinese women are demanding more from their sex lives," said Ma Xiaonian, director of the Chinese Sex Science Society. He conducted the first survey and was the adviser on the second one.
About 57 percent of women said sex was a very significant part of marriage and 36 percent said it was important. Only 4 percent said sex was not important.
