4 bus hubs set to open this year

FOUR new public bus hubs are set to open this year, while work will commence on a fifth.
Construction is already under way at hubs in Songjiang’s Sijing Town, Henggang Road and Qingpu New City, while the demolition and relocation process has begun at Pudong’s Minle Community, authorities said.
All four hubs will be ready before the end of the year, the Shanghai Transport Committee said.
Construction of a fifth, to the north of Songjiang’s Sheshan Hill, will start within the year, it said.
Also this year, traffic authorities will open 30 new bus routes in remote areas as part of a plan to link residential neighborhoods to the Metro network.
