Airline Adds 12 Planes
CHINA Eastern Airlines expects to earn 4 billion yuan (US$586 million) from Expo visitors, it said yesterday. The Shanghai-based carrier is allocating 12 extra aircraft to serve the city, increasing its total number to 108.
"We will add 300 flights weekly in Shanghai during the Expo period to and from the Hongqiao airport," said Ma Xulun, general manager of China Eastern.
