A FLEET of 15 buses on the No. 636 line will take to the streets today, equipped with new bacteria-fighting air conditioners. The air conditioners use copper, which has been confirmed effective in battling bacteria like colon bacillus and Legionella bacteria.
Copper received the endorsement of the US Environmental Protection Agency last year after extensive antimicrobial efficacy testing.
