Bus stops to show exact timings

THE transport authority plans to specify the arrival time of buses on 20 routes from today on a trial basis.
The exact arrival time of the buses will be on display at the stops that can help to cut down on the waiting time for passengers.
For some lines, passengers can use “Shanghai Public Transportation” app to find out the bus times.
The 20 lines are known for their high punctuality rate. The buses are No. 48, 56, 108, 930, 1006, 1008, 1009, 1012, 1013, 1023, 1047, 1049, 1201, 1210, 1212, 1217, 1218, Caoyang No. 3, Baoshan No. 9 and Zhoukang No. 10.
Bus passengers can call hotline 12345 or 12319 to file complaints if there are long delays on any lines, the Shanghai Transport Commission said.
