Button up, it's going to remain cold
THE current cold snap is expected to bring the temperature down to 7 degrees Celsius this morning although it will rise to 12 degrees in the afternoon.
The chilly weather is expected to last until Tuesday, the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said.
Although it will still be cold, the rain is forecast to stop today and there may even be some sunny periods during the day, forecasters said.
Intermittent rain is expected tomorrow with temperatures ranging between 9 and 14 degrees.
The bureau's forecast calls for the temperature to dip to a low of 3 degrees on Monday and 6 degrees on Tuesday. However, it is expected to warm up somewhat on Wednesday.
The temperature dropped to 8 degrees last night although forecasters said it may have felt colder due to the wind.
