Chilling out with autumn colors

CHILLIER days are forecast for the week ahead, with a cold front arriving around midweek sending the low down to only 10 degrees Celsius on Thursday morning, forecasters said yesterday.

However, no rain is expected this week and sunny spells are forecast from Wednesday, said the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau.

But the arrival of the cold front midweek will also bring stronger winds to the city.

So long as walkers are well wrapped up, this week should see ideal weather for outings, with plenty of autumn color as the leaves fall from city trees, forecasters added.

The high for today and tomorrow will be around 18 and 19 degrees, with the low standing at 13 or 14 degrees.

The air quality this week is expected to be good, according to officials.
