Chilly weather lingers this week
WEATHER will improve in Shanghai in the next three days but the minimum temperature will remain low, local weather bureau said.
It is windy today with gusty winds at 38 kilometers per hour. The temperature fell to a low of 5 degrees Celsius, making people feel chilly compared with last week.
The mercury will drop further to 3 degrees Celsius tomorrow under the influence of the latest cold front, but the maximum temperature will climb to 13 degrees, according to the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau.
The readings will edge up slowly as the cold front weakens.
The weathermen warned about a big gap between day and night temperatures these few days and reminded locals to put enough clothes to prevent getting cold.
Another cold snap is coming around next Monday, the bureau said in forecast.
