Cloud, some rain expected

SHANGHAI is forecast to be mainly cloudy for this weekend's Qingming Festival holiday, with a little rain expected tomorrow, Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said yesterday.

The bureau said the whole Yangtze River Delta region including Shanghai and Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces should be mainly cloudy, with the heaviest rain expected in Zhejiang.

The bureau said the temperature should be stable during the holiday as the cold fronts in the north were comparatively weak and the weather should be "suitable" for outdoor activities.

Shanghai today should be cloudy, with the temperature ranging from 7 to 15 degrees Celsius.

It should be warmer tomorrow, overcast with some rain, with the temperature ranging from 10 to 15 degrees.

Monday is expected to be cloudy, with the temperature ranging from 11 to 17.
