Driver flees after causing an 8-car collision

POLICE are hunting for the driver who caused an eight-car collision last night on the city's North-South Elevated Freeway, a report on xinmin.cn said.
The accident didn't cause any injuries but some cars were badly damaged, police said.
It's unclear whether the driver of a black Buick sedan was a man or a woman.
Witnesses said the car suddenly lost control at about 10:20pm on the freeway near the Linfen exit ramp and rammed into a car in the front, causing an eight-car chain collision and a serious gridlock.
Police seized the Buick sedan and are searching for the driver who fled before the police arrived.
