THE Shanghai airport operator said yesterday it has made some renovations at Hongqiao International Airport to ease passengers' journeys to Taiwan's Songshan Airport. Inside Building B of Terminal 1, the airport has increased the number of lanes for customs, security checks, border inspection and quarantine checks. The new air route, scheduled to open on June 14, will have 28 flights a week.
