FLIGHTS between Shanghai and Chengdu began to operate normally yesterday morning after a heavy thunderstorm in the capital of Sichuan Province caused cancellations and delays over the weekend.
Flights between the cities were disrupted on Friday and Saturday after Chengdu was hit by its biggest storm this summer.
