Flights cancelled as typhoon nears Taiwan

CHINA Eastern Airlines has cancelled all flights to and from Taiwan starting 2pm today as Typhoon Soulik is closing in on the island.
It also asked passengers to pay close attention to information updates as more flights might be changed or cancelled.
Soulik is spinning toward Taiwan and is expected to make landfall or skirt past northern Taiwan between midnight and tomorrow morning to head for Zhejiang and Fujian provinces.
