Goodbye To The Wet Weather
THE rain will give way to sunshine this week, the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said yesterday.
The weather is expected to be mainly sunny, with temperatures rising without getting too hot, ranging between 16 and 29 degrees Celsius, the bureau said.
"The weather should be suitable this week and the humidity should not be high," said Li Jinyu, a bureau chief service officer. "Fine weather should last for at least three to four days under the high atmospheric pressure."
No more rain is expected this week as the rain zone has moved off toward Southeast Asia, Li said.
With the good weather, the bureau may declare summer - which officially starts when the average temperature of consecutive five days exceeds 22 degrees.
The weather today is expected to be sunny with some cloud, with temperatures 17 and 29 degrees.
