ENJOY the warm weather while it lasts – Shanghai temperatures are forecast to drop 10 to 12 degrees Celsius within the next 48 hours, weathermen said.

Today's unusually warm day will reach a high of 19 degrees and a low around 12 degrees. A cold front across Shanghai tonight will bring rain until late tomorrow, with strong winds.

And the big chill is set to return Friday night or Saturday morning, dropping to 1 degree in the downtown area and an icy minus 2 in the suburbs.
