Line 2 prepares for project delays

METRO authorities are to use shuttle buses to take commuters between some Line 2 stations should subway operations come to a halt during a power system renovation project.
The project will cover Metro Line 2's Songhong Road to Loushanguan Road, four stations in total. The rest of the line will not be affected. Work will start today at 10pm and finish at 11pm on Sunday, officials said. "We have to take precautions though the risk of breakdowns is relatively low," said a Metro official.
