Line 9's Xujiahui station set to open by year end

XUJIAHUI Metro Station of Line 9 is scheduled to open to the public by the end of the year.
It is one of the 10 metro stations in the line's second phase. Line 9 extends from Yishan Road to Yanggao Road M.
Xujiahui station will become a transfer stop between lines 1 and 9. Line 9 will also connect with Line 8 at Lujiabang station and lines 2, 4 and 6 at Century Avenue station.
Line 9 presently runs from Songjiang New Town to Yishan Road in southwest Shanghai, covering the districts of Songjiang, Minhang and Xuhui.
It started operation in January 2008.
