Mercury to rise again over city

CLOUD and warmer temperatures are expected for the rest of this week, with highs returning to more than 30 degrees Celsius, weathermen said.
The highest temperature will rise steadily from 30 degrees tomorrow to 32 degrees on Saturday. The lowest temperature will also rise steadily from 24 degrees to 26 degrees over the same period, according to Shanghai Meteorological Bureau.
The bureau says that the weather will be suitable for outdoor activities. Temperatures today will be between 23 and 28 degrees, with showers in some areas.
