Metro Line 11 extends tests
SHANGHAI'S Metro Line 11 will cut the interval between trains from nine to seven minutes running from Jiangsu Road to North Jiading station from tomorrow, as it further tests its western branch.
Trains will run from Jiading New City to Line 11's northern terminal at North Jiading every seven or 14 minutes.
Line 11 has two routes, with the main line running from Jiangsu Road in the city's Changning District to North Jiading. The other route to be tested tomorrow will connect Jiading New City station with its western terminal Anting, reported Jiefang Daily today.
The western branch has four stops at Shanghai International Circuit, East Changji Road, Shanghai Automobile City and the terminal Anting.
F1 fans can alight at Shanghai International Circuit station to get to the racetrack next month.
