Metro Security To Remain In Place
The current tight security measures at the city's 200-plus metro stations will remain after the Expo ends, said the metro operator, Shanghai Shentong Metro Group.
Scanning machines and extra metro security staff employed during the event are likely to be kept until the end of this year.
The operator said it is still discussing the future use of the equipment and staff with local police and government officials.
The staff are employed by Shentong and trained by the city's metro police.
