Metro doors lead to delays

PROBLEMS with Metro carriage doors caused delays of about 13 minutes for some commuters yesterday morning.
A train on Metro Line 1 was taken out of service at Shanghai Stadium Station at 8:08am as was one on Metro Line 3 at Jinshajiang Road Station at 8:29am because carriage doors failed to close. The Metro authority said the problem was probably the result of overcrowding.
