Metro set for a record day tomorrow
IT’S going to be all guns blazing on the Metro tomorrow.
It will run at maximum capacity and is expected to hit a traffic record, the city’s Metro operator said.
Tomorrow is the last working day before the Labor Day holiday and six Metro lines will extend night operating hours on Friday.
On Sunday and Monday, two added train services will depart from Disney Resort Station on Line 11 as the Spring Wave Sunset Electronic Music Festival is being held in a park on Shendi Road near the station.
The added train services will leave at 10:45pm and 11am, but will only stop at Sanlin, Xujiahui, Caoyang Road and Nanxiang stations.
