THE number of outbound passengers from Pudong International Airport in the 10 days through Wednesday rose more than 8 percent from the same period of last year, the Shanghai Exit-Entry Frontier Inspection Station said.
The total for the period was 410,000 which is a mean of 41,000 per day. About 20 percent of the outbound travelers were students ranging, officials said.
