No Gas On Island
MOTORISTS heading to the city's Yangshan Deep-Water Port are being reminded to fill up with gasoline first.
The one filling station on the Small Yangshan Island, where the port is located, supplies only diesel to trucks, said an official, surnamed Lu, with the Yangshan Deep-Water Free Trade Port Area Management Committee.
People drive to a viewing platform on the island via the 32-kilometer Donghai Bridge to take photographs and enjoy the view of the deep-water port.
Lu said there are two stations selling gasoline at the exits of the highways to Donghai Bridge where car drivers should top up before crossing over to the island.
