The city’s 16,000 public buses will undergo quality checks to cut down on safety risks and ensure the conditions of air conditioners and video screens were in perfect order. Shanghai’s transportation management and traffic law enforcement departments are holding a thorough inspection of public buses that started yesterday and would last for a month.
