Pump gizmos to catch lost petrol

GAS-RECOVERY devices will be installed in 800 petrol stations this year, after a pilot program at nine stations proved successful.
About 0.8 percent of petrol is lost at gas stations due to evaporation, which means about 30,000 tons of petrol are wasted in Shanghai each year. The recovery devices capture evaporated petrol so it can be liquefied and sold.
