Road closures to make way for parade

TRAFFIC will be banned in some downtown areas from late today to tomorrow for the parade celebrating the opening of the Shanghai Tourism Festival.
The section of Huaihai Road M. between Xizang Road S. and Shaanxi Road S. will be closed to all vehicles from 5pm to 9:30pm tomorrow, the Shanghai Security Bureau said yesterday.
Other thoroughfares, such as Liulin Road, Pu'an Road, Taoyuan Road and Wangting Road, will also face traffic restrictions at the same time. From 5pm to 9:30pm tomorrow, vehicles will not be allowed to cross Huaihai Road M. from Chongqing Road and Ruijin No. 1 Road.
