Roads to close for over 2 years

TWO downtown roads will be closed to vehicles starting Saturday for the construction of subway stations, the Metro authority said today. Cars will be barred from Qufu Road in Huangpu District and Damu-qiao Road in Xuhui District for more than two years until end of 2013 while workers build stations for Metro Line 12. Pedestrians and cyclists will not be affected, said the Metro authority.
