Shanghai Airports Feel Chilly Fallout
HEAVY snow in north China yesterday continued to affect Shanghai flights and other traffic to cities like Beijing and Tianjing.
At least one flight to Beijing was canceled and 13 delayed by 8pm at the city's two international airports. Flights from Beijing to Shanghai were also disrupted, with one canceled and 15 delayed.
Airline workers said yesterday services would not return to normal until snow was cleared from Beijing's airport. Direct services between Shanghai and Beijing may not return to normal schedules until this morning at the earliest.
Shanghai long-distance bus services to Beijing were canceled yesterday.
