Shanghai Metro issues new one-day passes
SHANGHAI Metro operator yesterday issued brand-new one-day tickets.
The old ones, which were issued in April for the World Expo visitors, will expire by the end of this year.
The new one-day ticket with a different logo costs 18 yuan, same as the old one, and offers unlimited travel on the city's 11 Metro lines. About 3,000 such tickets were sold every day on average in the past eight months.
A three-day ticket is waiting to be approved by the Shanghai Pricing Bureau, said Metro officials.
