Shanghai set for a soaking

THUNDERSTORMS will probably hit the city this afternoon and the rain will continue through the week with rising temperatures, says the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau.
Temperatures will range between 25 degrees and 31 degrees Celsius and are expected to reach 35 degrees on Thursday and Friday and may get even higher at the weekend.
The Plum Rain season began in late June.
