Strong cold wave to hit city tonight

A strong cold front from the north is coming to the city, driving down the temperatures.

While it was warm today with the temperature ranging from 10 to 20 degrees Celsius, a drizzle tonight will send the temperatures down to only 3 to 6 degrees, according to the city's meteorological bureau, which issued a "cold wave" alert this afternoon.

It's forecast that the low on Tuesday will further dip to 2 with the highest slightly rising to 8.

Mercury will start to climb slowly from Wednesday with the highest temperature on Friday predicted to be 11.

Cloudy weather is forecast for most of the next week through to Friday as well as good air quality for the first half of next week.
