Temperature to drop 10 degrees
A STRONG cold front from the north will drop temperatures about 10 degrees Celsius on Sunday, a local newspaper reported today.
The highest temperature expected Monday is 14 degrees with a low of about 10 degrees, making it the first major temperature drop this fall, according to the Shanghai Morning Post report.
The temperature will hover between 19 and 25 degrees today. Friday will bring drizzle and a temperature fall.
Meanwhile, the cold front will also disperse the fog and slightly polluted air, the fourth polluted day this month.
The air pollution index in the city was 116 yesterday. From 101 to 150 is considered slight pollution, while 100 is deemed safe. Air pollution also hit the city from October 17 to 19.
