Tighter Construction Rules On Way

SHANGHAI Construction Commission Director Huang Rong said yesterday that it would increase cooperation with environmental authorities to reduce disturbances produced by errant operations of construction projects.
Higher standards to guide construction operations and more stringent rules are on the way. Huang said visits by inspectors would increase to punish violators, such as waste dumpers or those operating after midnight.
