Truck crushes cyclist to death on Jungong Road

A cyclist in his 50s was killed by a truck this morning at the crossroad of Jungong Road and Jiamusi Road in the city's Yangpu District.
Police said the concrete mixer truck was making a right turn to Jungong Road at about 8am when it knocked down the cyclist riding alongside the truck.
The man fell to the ground and the truck rolled over him. He was killed instantly.
Police are gathering the details of the accident.
