Warm, but not for long

TEMPERATURES rose in the city yesterday with the minimum inching above zero. Today and tomorrow will also be relatively warm with maximum temperatures of 10 to 11 degrees.

Wednesday will be chilly though when the next wave of cold fronts arrive, Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said yesterday.

Rain is forecast from tomorrow night to Monday.

Today will see sunshine and cloud with a minimum temperature of 2 degrees. Tomorrow sees the arrival of drizzle and temperatures between 5 and 10 degrees.

Wind should clear the skies on Wednesday but the top temperature will be just 4 degrees.

Meanwhile, bad weather in north China and other countries hit city flights. At least 31 flights from the Hongqiao International Airport and 68 from the Pudong airport were delayed yesterday.
