Warm, wet conditions to remain
ANOTHER warm day is on the cards today, though it will be cooler than yesterday and there remains the chance of thundershowers, the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said.
The top temperature is likely to be about 25 degrees Celsius, 3 degrees lower than yesterday, forecasters said.
The mercury will continue to fall tomorrow, to a high of 22 degrees, while Sunday will be warmer, at 24 degrees, with a dry but cloudy outlook.
More rain is on the cards for early next week, though Monday and Tuesday are set to be a lot hotter.
Despite the balmy outlook, summer has yet to officially arrive. This happens when the mean temperature surpasses 22 degrees on five consecutive days.
