Warmer, drier days nice start for week
SUNNY to partly cloudy skies and warmer days are expected to return this week after a cool and wet Qingming Festival, with highs up to 20 degrees Celsius and lows no lower than 8 degrees, forecasters said.
Today's high is expected to be 20 degrees Celsius and the low, 8 degrees.
Forecasters said while temperatures will rise quickly during the day, people should have on some warm layers of clothes if they leave early in the morning or return late at night.
Tomorrow's high is expected to be 16 degrees Celsius, and Wednesday's high is forecast to be 18 degrees.
Air quality yesterday was good with the most recent 24-hour reading of top pollutant PM2.5 standing at 53 micrograms per cubic meter at 5pm yesterday.
The nation's limit of fine PM2.5 particles within 24 hours is 75 micrograms per cubic meter.
