Warmer weather, but some rain at last

SOME warmer days are expected this week with temperatures rising slightly, weathermen said yesterday.

Although cold fronts have been active and caused much disruption in the north of the country, they should not affect the city seriously over the coming few days and the minimum temperature could even rise several degrees.

The lowest temperature over the next few days should be around 12 degrees Celsius with the high around 17.

It is forecast to be mainly cloudy with drizzle from today to Wednesday. The rainfall will bring more moisture to the city in the last days of the month - which is the driest November on record, according to the city's 137-year-old meteorological records.

Today is forecast to be cloudy with some rain and temperatures should vary between 11 degrees and 19.

Tomorrow is forecast to be drizzly to cloudy and the temperatures should range from 12 degrees low to 17 high, according to the bureau.
