Weather stays fine before National Day
THE weather for the last work days this week before the National Day holiday will be fine with clear sky and stable temperatures, weathermen said today.
Although the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau has not pronounced the arrival of the meteorological autumn, locals have been enjoying cool autumn weather since last week and the nice weather should continue, mainly cloudy with temperatures between 19 degrees and 26 degrees Celsius.
"The weather should be comfortable in the next two to three days," said Zhang Ruiyi, a chief meteorologist at the bureau. "There will be a little shower on Wednesday but shouldn't cause much inconvenience."
Zhang noted that Shanghai has not yet entered meteorological autumn as it normally does. "Chances for the city to enter autumn before the holiday are low," he said.
