Weatherman sees sunnier skies this week

THE sky should be clear and the weather mainly sunny in coming days, following a foggy week and an overcast and drizzly weekend, the weatherman said.

Yesterday's overcast should give way to brighter skies as the cloud and rain zone above the city moved east, the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said.

Under the influence of a high atmospheric pressure, the weather today should be cloudy with a high of 12 degrees Celsius and a low of 5, the bureau said yesterday.

Tomorrow should be sunny, with a high of 13 and a low of 5.

Wednesday will be cloudy, the temperature climbing a little to 15, with a low of 7.
