Wet weather forecast for Halloween

A COLD front with some drizzles is set to dominate city weather for the last few days of October, forecasters said yesterday.

A rainy Halloween is expected on Friday, so parties are better held indoors.

Yesterday marked the final day of a warm spell with a high of 27 degrees Celsius brought by a warm air mass.

More cloud is likely today with drizzle in eastern and northern areas of the city in the morning, said the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau.

Winds will also increase and the high is forecast to slip to 21 degrees. Temperatures will not change much tomorrow and Wednesday and range from 16 to 21 degrees under overcast skies.

From late Wednesday, low pressure will bring rain. While Thursday and Friday see the high climb to 23 degrees, rain is forecast for three or four days.
