Wintry weather heads in

THE city will be chillier next week with the temperatures dropping 3 to 4 degrees due to the arriving of a new cold front, weathermen said yesterday.

The minimum temperature is expected to be around 10 degrees Celsius on the mornings of Tuesday and Wednesday, said the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau. The average temperature next week will be around 15 degrees and the low should be 10 degrees.

The bureau said the lower temperatures are caused by the southern movement of a cold front.

But the weather over the following days should be good and mainly sunny with some chance of clouds and little chance of rain, the -bureau said.

The city usually goes into winter in December.
