16 swimming pools fail quality checks

SIXTEEN public swimming pools failed to pass water quality checks and were subsequently punishment, the Shanghai Health Supervision Agency said yesterday.
The announcement was made following inspections at 629 pools across the city. The quality of water was so poor at seven of them that they were ordered to close.
