2 killed in bar machete fight

TWO men were killed and five injured in a bar fight in the early hours of yesterday in the Pudong New Area, police said. A video shot by customers in the Loving Heart Baby bar in Huinan Town at around 12:20am showed more than 20 people fighting, some wielding machetes.

At least one of the dead suffered severe head injuries. One of the injured lost his left hand in the fight. Another of the injured was said to be in a serious condition, while the other three were reported to be stable, according to STV news. The injured were taken to Pudong People’s Hospital where there was a further disturbance. A doctor was struck on the face and a room trashed as the group thought treatment was too slow, it was reported. Police have held more than 10 suspects.
