2 missing after ships collide
Rescue personnel were still looking for two missing crew of a Chinese cargo ship after a two-ship collision early yesterday morning.
Authorities said they had managed to rescue 16 crew members. The crash happened yesterday at the mouth of Yangtze River where a Chinese ship collided with a Panama-registered ship. Three sailors onboard the Chinese vessel fell into the river. One of them was rescued by a passing vessel, maritime officials said. The rest of 15 sailors were taken to maritime ships which arrived for the rescue, said the authorities, who added that they were still looking for the missing two crews.
