4 ‘racketeers’ held

FOUR people have been charged with racketeering after blackmailing a man who stole a mobile phone from one of them, prosecutors said yesterday. After the suspects tracked down the thief and retrieved the missing phone, they kidnapped him and demanded 5,000 yuan (US$790) from his sister for his safe return.
