80 Million Yuan Raised To Help Migrants

THE China Volunteer Service Foundation has raised more than 80 million yuan (US$12.6 million) to fund volunteer services helping migrant workers across China, according to official figures released by the Central Civilization Office of China ahead of the International Volunteer Day today.
The office, in cooperation with government agencies, kicked off a campaign to provide assistance to migrant workers this year. Services offered include vocational training, legal assistance and teaching children.
