Arrest in strangling case

A man who allegedly strangled his lover and hid her body under a rooftop water tank was arrested for murder, the Baoshan District People’s Procuratorate said yesterday. Police said the man, surnamed Li, had a fight with his lover, surnamed Song, last August at their home on Shapu Road. During the fight, Li allegedly strangled Song with a piece of nylon rope.
