BEAUTY and the Beast, the award-winning Broadway stage musical, is to come to life in Mandarin for the first time — at Shanghai Disney Resort next year.
This marks the second time for the resort to produce a Broadway stage musical in Mandarin following the Lion King production.
The production will be performed at the 1,200-seat Walt Disney Grand Theater, the resort said at the weekend.
Lion King will have its last and 500th performance on October 8 at the theater.
